Jonathan Osteen is an American musician and social star best known as the son of Lakewood Church televangelist Joel Osteen. He has more than 90,000 followers on Instagram. Joel Scott Osteen his father is an American pastor, televangelist and author based in Houston, Texas. Known for his weekly televised services and several best-selling books, Osteen is one of the more prominent figures associated with prosperity theology. As a teenager, Jonathan Osteen actively participated in Lakewood’s Young Adult ministry. With his passion for music, he joined the worship team, where he sang and played the guitar.

Jonathan Osteen’s Grandfather founded the Lakewood Church

Jonathan’s grandfather, John Osteen is famous as an author and pastor. Besides, he also hosted a television show called John Osteen for sixteen years. On top of that, John Osteen is remembered as the founder of Lakewood Church which he founded in 1959 in Houston. He later developed the church into a body of approximately 15,000 members.

John served as the pastor at the church until his death on 23rd January 1999. John died due to heart failure at the age of 77. After his demise, his son, Joel became the pastor and he further developed the church with over 50k attendance capacity.

On June 28, 2022, Jonathan Osteen married his longtime partner, Sophia Hahn. The news of their wedding surprised some fans and supporters as they did not leak any announcements or information anywhere.

The news of their wedding broke on the internet when Joel Osteen and his wife, Victoria Osteen, took to their Instagram pages to congratulate the newly married couple.
