Five-time GRAMMY Award-winning music collective Maverick City Music, along with Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine, have just released their latest album, ‘The Maverick Way Complete,’ through Insignia & TRIBL Records. This extensive 22-track project includes the songs from the previously released 6-track ‘The Maverick Way’ EP, which quickly rose to the number one spot on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album chart. The album also boasts exciting collaborations with artists such as Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Noah Schnacky, Bobbi Storm, Travis Greene, Cody Carnes, Wande, and more.
Following the success of their hit single, “Good News” featuring Todd Galberth, the second single from the album, “In the Room” featuring Tasha Cobbs Leonard, was released on October 13th and is already gaining significant traction as one of their fastest-growing singles. Fans of the collective can purchase the album in both physical CD and digital formats.
‘The Maverick Way Complete’ combines emotionally charged tracks and passionate performances, a signature of the group, blending gospel, R&B, pop, and contemporary worship.
Jonathan Jay and Norman Gyamfi, Co-Founders of Maverick City Music and TRIBL Records, explain, “The Maverick Way Complete speaks to those who are seeking to amplify their worship experience wherever they are. We invite everyone to feel transformed and COMPLETE when they listen to each song. This album represents our best work yet.”
Starting on October 31st, the ‘The Maverick Way’ tour will kick off in Springfield, MA, featuring a total of 16 stops through November 19th. The tour will showcase performances from Maverick City Music, Todd Galberth, Noah Schnacky, Ashley Hess, Roosevelt Stewart, Anthony Brown, and JWLKRS. In 2022, Maverick City Music embarked on one of the year’s biggest tours, consistently ranking in the Pollstar Top 10 week after week, and selling out arenas across America.
Maverick City Music, founded in 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia, is on a mission to break down racial and denominational barriers in Christian music. Their efforts were rewarded with a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for their record, “Old Church Basement,” in 2021.
In 2023, the group took home four Grammys in the categories of Best Gospel Performance/Song (“Kingdom” feat. Naomi Raine & Chandler Moore), Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance (“Fear is Not My Future” feat.
