On November,9th 2014, one of the most tragic and expected things happened! the cold hands of death robbed the world of one of its prominent preachers, evangelist, and best-selling author Dr. Myles Munroe along with his wife and eight others who were on board. Munroe and the other passengers were en route to Freeport, Grand Bahama for a conference.

The ill-fated plane crashed during the airport approach. officials stated their aircraft struck a crane at a shipyard near Grand Bahama International Airport. At first, rumors circulated that Charisa was among the passengers who perished in the plane crash but it was later affirmed that she was not among the passengers who were all confirmed dead!

Charisa is the first-born child of the deceased Dr. Myles Munroe.  Her dad was a Bahamas evangelist and ordained pastor ardent professor of the Kingdom of God, writer, speaker, and advisor who founded and led the Bahamas Faith Ministries International (BFMI) and Myles Munroe International (MMI).
He was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of the International Third World Leaders Organization and Director of the International Leadership Training Center, as well as the author of a number of books. Myles Munroe was born on 20 April 1954  and died on 9 November 2014 at the age of 60 in a plane crash along with his wife and eight people who were on board.
